SIXTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

Due to the ongoing second terminal examination there were no classes taken in this week. We had the duty of exam invigilation.

FIFTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

In this week classes were taken in one day because of the second term examination was started on Wednesday. I taught the topic joints with the help of models and also a video was used to shown the different types of joints.

FOURTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

In this week, the different stages of muscle contraction, muscle fatigue and human skeletal system were the topic I taught. Chart was used to taught the muscle contraction. Muscle fatigue was taught through 5E model with the help of ICT. Chart and ICT was used to represent the human skeletal system. Diagnostic test and it's remedial teaching was conducted on this week. In this week I took yoga class. I chose ARDHAKATTICHAKRASANA.

THIRD WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

This week also classes were taken in every day. By completing excretion in other animal, excretion in plants the fifth chapter had over and started the sixth chapter. The topic excretion in other animal taught through role play model. For this selected five students and gave their role and they acted. Chart was used to taught excretion in plants and type of movements. By conducted a debate importance of exercise were taught. By using model muscles were taught that day teacher came to valuate the class. There were also a health education class in this week about importance of exercise.

SECOND WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

In this week classes were taken in every day. Excretory organs, production of urea, kidney, formation of urine, role of kidney in maintaining homeostasis, kidney disorder, haemodialysis, kidney transplantation, liver, skin were the topics I taught. Chart was used to represent the excretory organs, and model was used for teaching kidney. ICT was used to taught the other topics. The students are too fond of ICT. At the end of the week notes had checked.

FIRST WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

The internship was started on 15/11/2017  as per the B.Ed curriculum. The class allotted to me was 9.D. From the fifth chapter I should teach. There was no classes in this week due to the sub district youth festival.

COLLEGE DAY

College day was celebrated on 20/10/2017. The programme was conducted by college union. Benyamin sir was inaugurated the function. In the afternoon section various cultural programmes were conducted.

ELEVENTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

The last class of the first phase teaching practise ended on this week. 40 lesson plan had completed during the period.  Removal of carbon dioxide and homeostasis were the topics taken by using ICT and chart. Capasity building programme and school based activities were conducted to increase the ability of students. A quiz competition, as part of Gandhi jayanthi also conducted in this week. This was a great experience for me, and i had got  the opportunity to spent with students as a teacher.

TENTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

If haemoglobin is not present, glycolysis and Krebs cycle were the topics I taught. Chart was used to represent the diffusion of oxygen and video was also used. ICT was used to taught glycolysis and Krebs cycle. In this week a conscientization programme was conducted in seventh standard students about road safety. Ozone day and Alzheimer's day was celebrated as a part of association activity.

NINTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

The class started on Monday after the Onam vacation. I started with the fourth unit TO RELEASE ENERGY. Respiratory system, atmospheric air in to the lungs, vital capacity, exchange of gases in the lungs were the topics I teached. ICT and charts were used as teaching aids. By exercising Thrikonasana as a part of Yoga taken in this week.

EIGHT WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

There were no classes in this week due to the onam examination. In the last day of this week onam was celebrated in school with students. Various programs were conducted and the onam vacation was started.

SEVENTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Due to the ongoing Onam exams there were no classes taken this week. We had the duty of exam invigilation.

SIXTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

In this week three classes were taken. Hepatic portal system, transportation in plants were the topics. The chart was used to taught hepatic portal system and ICT was used to explain xylem and phloem. The seventy first Independence day was celebrated on 15 August. Various competitions was conducted and children's were actively participated. And also a programme SAFE PATHANAMTHITTA AN ANTI DRUG CAMPAIGN was conducted.

FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

In this week classes were taken in four days. Blood cells, Tissue fluid, Lymph system, Heart, Heart beat, Double circulation were the topics I taught. The heart was taught by using model and the others are taught by using chart and ICT. Peer evaluation was completed in this week.

FOURTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

In this week 3 classes were  taken. By completing osmosis the second chapter had over  and started the third chapter. Function of blood and plasma were taken by using the chart. An experiment was conducted to show osmosis. There were also a health education class in this week about heart diseases. Diagnostic test was conducted on friday.

THIRD WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Due to the midterm exam classes weren't conducted everyday on this week. The topics importance of intestinal juices, structure of villi, large intestine, diffusion were taken by using ict method. Chart was used to represent diffusion and the demonstration was done  by mixing ujala with the water. On the demonstration day the teacher came to valuate the class and that class was recorded.

SECOND WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

In this week classes were taken in everyday. The structure of teeth, salivary gland, mouth and it's associated parts, peristalsis in oesophagus and stomach, gastric juices, small intestine, role of liver and pancreas in digestion were the topics I taught. Chart was used to represent the structure of teeth as teaching aid. The chart contains mouth and associated parts, video of how epiglottis prevent the food that entering lungs and it leads to oesophagus were presented. By using model and ICT to taught peristalsis in oesophagus. By inserting a ball through the cycle tube to represent the model of peristalsis. The representation of peristalsis in stomach was using the chart and the digestion of food in small intestine showed through the ICT. The students are too fond of ICT. A quiz has conducted based on Ramayanam. The notes had checked in this week. Teacher came to valuate the teaching class and that class was recorded.

FIRST WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

The second phase of teaching practice was started on 12-07-2017 as per the B.Ed curriculum. Only three classes were available in this week. The class allotted to me was 9.D and I have been teaching from second chapter. Nutrients, parts of digestive system, types of teeth were the portions. Charts, models, ICT were the visual aids used for teaching. Along with that students were given guava to study about teeth. These were done in this week.

Science day

The natural science association and physical science association combindly celebrated the science day on 28 February 2017. The programme was inaugurated by Prof.Vinod faculty of zoology department NSS college. Later an inter departmental quiz competition was conducted in which various department of NSS college participated. In the afternoon a science exhibition was also be part of the function.
