INNOVATIVE WORK

The innovative work was a wheel based on the topic Karyokinesis-the division of the nucleus. The changes in nucleus takes place in four stages. They are Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase.

INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

NINTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

The last class of the internship was ended on this week. 30 lesson plan had completed during this period. In this week Mitosis, Division of the nucleus, Division of cytoplasm, Significance of mitosis and Meiosis were the topics I taught. Chart and ICT was used to taught mitosis. Chart contain different stages of nuclear division.

Cell division in animals and plants are also drawn in chart and it was used to taught the students.

ICT and chart was used to taught Meiosis.

This internship was agreat experience for me and I had got the opportunity to spent with students as a teacher. Iam very thankful to all the teachers and non teaching staffs in N.S.S.B.H.S. Pandalam.

EIGHTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

This week also classes were taken in everyday. By completing Movements in plants too, Nastic movements the sixth chapter had over and started the seventh chapter Division for growth and reproduction. Chart and ICT was used to taught Movements in plants.

A new method was adopted to teach Nastic movements that was Inquiry training model. Guava and touch me not plant was used for this. For teaching Meristematic cells ICT and chart was used.

Achievement test based on sixth chapter The biology of movement was conducted on this week.

SEVENTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

The topics taken in this week were movement of muscles in the fore limb, structure of a typical joint, skeletal disorders, movement and locomotion in other animals. I used chart and ICT as the teaching aid for the topic movement of muscles in the forelimb. Model and ICT was used to taught a typical joint structure.

I used a new strategy that is role play was used to taught movement and locomotion in other animals.

SIXTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

Due to the ongoing second terminal examination there were no classes taken in this week. We had the duty of exam invigilation.

FIFTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP

In this week classes were taken in one day because of the second term examination was started on Wednesday. I taught the topic joints with the help of models and also a video was used to shown the different types of joints.
